RPFF industry: Lecture "Another 24 Styles of Documentaries"

Lecture by film director, producer Boris Mitić in English. Free entrance.

An eye, shutter and mind-opening compilation of 24 innovative styles of documentary filmmaking, arguing that diverse dramaturgical and aesthetic practices are not only legitimate, but also highly desirable assets for creating unique, added-value documentary film experiences. Three to five examples will be presented for each style, including trailers.

Boris Mitić directs and produces, co-produces and co-co-produces his documentaries, the latest being a documentary about Nothing, narrated in rhymes by Iggy Pop. He also gives lectures about atypical documentary filmmaking at film academies and industry events worldwide, including EAVE, IDFA, CPH:DOX, DocNomads, DocEdge Kolkata, Qumra Doha, Scottish Documentary Institute, Balkan Documentary Center and more.
