In 2011, the inexperienced band “The Buildings,” driven by a sense of urgency and excitement, stepped into a recording studio for the first time. This black and white film, with never-before-seen footage, documents the recording of the band’s first album. Now this intimate and passionate process sees the light of day, though the album they recorded was never released.

This isn’t a story about music, but rather about friends who make music together and, driven by a strong mission and unbridled energy, set out to record an album.
