Red Code Blue

A young criminal police investigator, Roman Skulte, starts working for the police in Riga in the mid-nineties. Skulte is full of enthusiasm and a desire to change the world, cleansing it of crime and corruption. He quickly realizes that idealism will not get him far, and in order to fight both the criminal world and his own precinct, which, as Skulte sees, is not always interested in the safety of honest citizens, he will have to break such rules and principles. Of course – all this in the name of noble goals! And, as our folk proverb wisely says, – the road to hell is paved with good intentions.
